Belonging to the British Whittall family, this mansion is one of the most magnificent Levantine structures in Bornova.
The Whittall Mansion was built in the second half of the 19th century by the English-origin Whittall family. The family were an important Levantine dynasty who amassed their wealth through the cotton trade in İzmir.

Built in the Neo-classical style, the mansion is notable for its spacious garden, columned façade and elegant interiors. The two-storey building reflects the luxury living of the period.
